Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for Couples
Couples can have a hard time finding a way to reach for one another when there's disconnection. Often conflict in relationship can lead to uncomfortable feelings like stuckness or distrust, which can be heartbreaking. Through coming to know your own blocks, fears, and patterns of shut down, partners can learn to identify what they are really longing for and needing and what is getting in the way of giving it, receiving, it, and asking for it.
I help couples learn how to develop safety and trust in their relationship so they can have stronger bonds with one another and develop healthy ways to handle conflict in the future after counseling is done.
